There are several reputable CC services, Genesis is one , but most city or county Govt agencies recomend a agency called consumer credit counseling services. Haveing checked on some of these agencies in the past few month, the Consumer Credit Counseling got my payment alot lower than some of the other ones so its best to try to check on a few to see what each may or may not offer you. At least in the state of Ohio, where I live, they offer a program to settle debt if you face certain conditions. These conditions are economic hardship or doubt of collectability.
